Almost ten years ago, Christopher and Sherri René established Faith Growth as the home to their various retreat, ministry consulting, spiritual direction and education ministries. Faith Growth provides services that enrich the ministry of local congregations. We focus on individual and congregational spiritual formation. For the individual, we provide retreats, spiritual direction, and workshops designed to enrich the faith journey; and on the congregational level, we work with Pastors and other church leaders to assist in starting new ministries or revitalizing existing ministries.
Beyond the Building is the name that has been given to all Faith Growth’s digital media endeavors. In the last year both Sherri René and Christopher have been amazed at the possibilities and the change demanded by the current communication shift occurring in society. Equipped with communication theory, experience in applying computer systems, and experiences with social media tools, this mother son team have developed education opportunities and complete solutions for churches, non-profits, and small businesses that remove technology as a barrier and empower organizations to participate in the conversation occurring in the digital world. It was decided that a name was needed that would not only cross religious lines but signified the breadth of connection that is enable by digital media.
The Harris’ experience comes from inside the church as well as in industry. They offer a unique inter-generational combined with a quick wit that makes them exceptional consultants and educational leaders.
