2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year. Most of us haven’t made it this far unscathed. That being said, it might not be the easiest of years to find things to be thankful for. What’s the saying? “Challenge accepted.”
Actually, our challenge for you this week is to prompt your congregation to get creative with their thanks-giving this year. While the easier way to collect these thankful thoughts is on your Facebook wall or your website’s bulletin board, what other ways can your members and visitors share?
For example, TikTok has become exceedingly popular this year–so much so that Instagram has copied their short video sharing model. Consider using other social media platforms to share your request and receive your followers’ thankful submissions. Think about how fun it would be to create/host a video montage of short gushes of gratitude.
