I recently lead a workshop at the ELCA Youth Ministry Network Extraveganza in Anaheim, CA. I am thankful for the invitation from the network to present. It was also exciting to be in Anaheim as the network re-launched the new Martins List. Faith Growth was responsible for developing the new Martins List website in conjunction with the network.
Overview of the workshop
“Let me google that,” is today’s response to most questions, from recipes to fact-checking politicians’ claims. It’s also the place where youth ask spiritual questions such as, “Does God love me?” This workshop will show you how your church can connect with young people through Google.
Google is a massive source of information. Youth turn to it daily to answer our questions – including questions about faith. This workshop gives tips and for youth workers to share their content online so that it can be found by young people when googling.
Workshop Slides
I accidentally deleted the power point file. I am currently reconstructing the deck. Below is what I have completed so far. I will update this post when I have the deck completely reconstructed.
